Not so long ago, estranged wife of Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi reported an assault case at Karen’s Hardy Police Station as recorded in OB 36/26/2/18.

According to Doreen Gatwiri, the assault was not an isolated case as she claims she had endured three years of domestic abuse.

The beauty queen who met Mulyungi at a supermarket said, “Everything looked okay” during the nine months they dated, but that over time, cracks started to emerge.

The man she loved not only had anger issues, but was stubborn about his past, she stated.

Mulyungi, who was dramatically arrested for challenging the President to a kuni measuring contest, did not comment on the allegations which are still under investigation.
